Our first ER trip

Today was the first ER trip for one of the kids. I really always thought Noah would go first...for some daredevil related injury, but today we went in for Eli. He has had a cold for the past few days and last night his cough started getting really bad and his breathing started getting more labored. Aunt Brooke came over to check him out and thought we should call in to the on call doctor, who decided we should come in. They tested him for RSV, which was negative, and did another test for pneumonia, also negative. But since he has been having breathing difficulties they started him on nebulizer treatments, and are having us bring him back in to the office in the morning for a follow up appointment, and to check his lungs again. Hopefully a few days of treatments and a little extra rest and he will be feeling good again!

Poor little baby! I'm glad that you took him in! IT's so scary when they're so young!

Poor Eli. I hope his breathing treatments help and he is on the mend. That mask makes him look so little!!

poor little stinker!!! i hope he's feeling better ASAP! (& kim is right-- that's a HUGE mask! val's is shaped like a fishy, so we always tell him its time for "bubbles" when he needs a treatment.) i really hope the treatments work & he's feeling better soon, it's so scary when they're that little!!!
