If you remember, we were potty training Noah last fall. He just got really interested in the potty and he was pretty much trained for awhile. He would even tell us when he needed to go while we were out and about. Then he got pinched in the potty chair and refused to use it, started having more and more accidents and hiding when he had to go. So we just backed off for awhile. He would use it occasionally but was back in diapers for the majority of the time.
Fast forward to last week. Noah started coming to me and saying "I'm wet/poopy, change me" and would bring me diapers. He is also obsessed with hotwheels/race cars/etc so we got him some car underwear and decided to give it another shot. So far he has done great! He has been totally dry and accident free for 3 days. He even stayed dry while we were out shopping Tuesday evening. He is very aware of when he needs to go and he knows that if he has an accident he has to take his "racecar underwears" off so he is trying so hard to keep them dry!
So, while I don't want to jinx it, I am really hoping this is it for him! Diapers aren't a huge deal for us now, but it will mean we can go an extra day between diaper laundry!

Potty training..again

Awesome!! Sounds like he's doing great! Cars were our big motivation too! Gotta love boys..just $1 a piece. Now girls...hmmm, I'm afraid of that prize!!
Our big potty training push last fall lasted until about 5:00 the day we started...it was traumatic. Will try again soonish! Way to go, Noah! So hoping that things will go more smoothly for Ella this time around...
A- We tried several times after our initial attempt and it never lasted. But once he got interested it literally took 2-3 days of us asking him to sit on it before he started just going and using it on his own. :) So when she is ready she will get it!
