Some deep dark secrets about myself (that are neither deep, nor dark and are now no longer secret).
I went to the mall today for one thing...to get C batteries for Noah's sound machine he uses at night. I ended up buying a few new things for myself, and probably spent too much, and totally forgot to get the batteries. But if felt really good to actually spend money on myself (and get some clothes that fit)!
I secretly look forward to vaccines since it means who ever gets them will sleep all day...and probably most of the next day too. (yes its horrible to think that...that's why its a deep dark secret...but I get so much done afterwards!).
Apparently yesterday was "no housework day" and I was unaware such a day existed until it was too late, and all the housework was done...so I'm just pretending it's today, which will be my excuse for when Brandon comes home as to why the house looks like the National Guard should be called in for disaster relief.
I love that Noah is in a naked phase. When we don't have plans to go anywhere I just let him go from jammies to naked, and back to jammies at the end of the day. It really cuts down on my laundry.
And finally, while there are occasions I really do wish Eli would take a bottle (it would be nice to go out for dinner and a movie with the hubby) I secretly love that I have a perfectly legitimate excuse as to why I can't leave him with a sitter.
So there you have it...anyone else care to share?

LOL, yes, I am right there with you on several points.
The whole go getting batteries(or whatever else)and then ending up buying other stuff and forgetting the one thing you went ofr is SOOOOO ME!!!! I do that ALL the time!! O and I spend too much money too!
I love naked phase as well, it does cut down on laundry! It's also pretty cute to watch.
I forget stuff ALL the time...brain just works that way these days...
I wish vaccines worked that way for my kids...but glad you can be productive yourself after;)
Hahahaha you are hilarious!
I agree the naked phase is cute I just wish my soon to be 7 year old would get out of it already as soon as he gets home from school he is in undies..
I am also guilty of going out for one thing getting other things but not the thing i needed..
Oh, I'm so jealous! Outside of DS with his 2 & 4 month shots, those only meant a super case of the crankies at our house! DD was cranky every single time!
Love this post though! Very cute!
