We had a great trip. We saw the falls, went shopping, and did a lot of fun things last week. We finally got home around midnight. After 3 cancelled flights we decided to rent a car and drive from the Chicago airport home (about a 4 hour drive, so not too bad). Our luggage is still lost, but since we are home it isn't as frustrating as having it lost while you are away from home. We will try to track it down today. I got a few good pictures, but Brandon spilled a pina colada in my purse, and my camera was not able to recover...*sigh*, but I will try to post what I have later on today.

Okay, we are leaving in the morning so I will not have a chance to post anything until we get home!
He just doesn't know what to do...He is not allowed to touch Noah yet (while he is a sweetheart, he is far from gentle) but he wants to be involved so much! I lay Noah in his activity gym everyday while I get things done around the house. This picture was taken after I had left the room for only a minute or two, and came back to Louie "playing" too!
Well Noah and I are going to be flying to New York on Thursday to see Brandon for a week. I have started packing, as I know if I wait until last minute I will forget something important. But all this has me thinking...how in the world will I live a week without his swing, or excersaucer, or the activity gym...So far I have one large suitcase, filled with diapers, wipes, bottles, Noah's clothes, and I will have to fit the boppy in for nursing and since he sits in it quite a bit each day. I have also realized that I will need jammies for 7 nights, and probably 14 outfits (we go through 2 a day) unless I want to go to the laundry mat...and we just don't have that many clothes for him! Then I have a tiny carryon suitcase that will have fit my clothes(if I just bring a few jeans, 7 shirts, and one set of pjs for me), and it will fit my hairdryer and personal items. Then I have another carryon that I will use as a diaper bag for the flight. Oh my goodness! I never knew such a little person could have so much stuff!!! I have a feeling this trip will be interesting.
Today was beautiful here...almost 60 degrees! So we headed to the outlet mall! I took Noah and we went with Brandon's mom and my sister in law. We had so much fun, and Noah appreciated the fresh air (being a november baby he hasn't had many chances to spend more than just a few minutes outside). Anyway, Noah got many things, and he is all set for clothes for awhile. We also had fun shopping for baby Mize who is due October 13th (no I am not pregnant again! My sister in law is).
Brandon flew home last Monday and spent a week here at home with us before leaving this afternoon. The week flew by, and seemed way too short, but we had a lot of fun. We got to spend a little time with both sides of the family, and Noah had his dedication to our church while he was home. I wish he could stay home for good now, but he has finally given me a time frame for when he will be working here. Brandon will come home Feb. 20th for another week, then go back until the end of March when he will stay for good! Finally there is an end in sight!!!
