We got home yesterday afternoon. Eli had his circumcision in the morning and a check up before we left and he is still perfect. Eli has his days and nights mixed up so mommy didn't get much sleep but hopefully gets to nap during Noah's nap today...assuming Eli behaves. So far he is a great nurser and happy baby!

The Children's Museam
Today I took Noah out to the children's museum. We were there running all over for about 2 hours before Mommy just got too tired and we had to leave...Noah could have lasted all afternoon I think! We didn't get to see everything they have there, so I am thinking we will have to make a return visit in a few months.

38 weeks
A day early again, but I had some extra time during Noah's nap so I figured I would use the time to get the picture done. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so I am hoping to hear some more good news about progress!

Getting things done!
I have felt great these past few days. Last night was a bit rough with Noah teething again, but the week prior I slept well and have had tons of energy. So I am using this extra energy to get a few things done around the house. Last week our dryer died on us so we had been backed up with laundry. Brandon found me a really nice used one a friend of a friend was selling (much much nicer than our old one...and even nicer than the new one we were going to get!). So this weekend I got all caught up with laundry. Today I got Noah's carseat cleaned, and replaced batteries in Noah's car mirror (it plays music and lights up), and installed one for Eli. I also stocked up on Noah's diapers which were running low, so I should be set for both boys for at least a few weeks after Eli comes. I did have a shock to my system when I bought a large box for each boy...diapers are outrageous and it is going to bankrupt us having 2 in them! I spent $90 on diapers that will only last maybe a month (if I am lucky!).
Aside from the extra things I am getting done around the house, Brandon informed me that he paid off his truck this week! That was one of our larger expenses every month and am so proud of him for getting it paid off (it still had another 15 months of payments). He has been working non stop the last few weeks and used some of the extra income we (well he) made to get it paid. It's always nice to have one less bill to have to pay each month.
That's about all that's new with us. Noah is still working on his 4 molars. One is pretty much all in, another has broke through, and the bottom two are taking their sweet time. If they don't hurry up I am going to be in for it when Eli comes. Between nigh time feedings and teeth troubles I don't know if there will be any time left for sleep!

Updates, ect.
First off...I am full term today which is very exciting for me! I know it means very little about when Eli will decide to come, but it means that he should be ready whenever he feels like seeing the snow. I have another doctors appointment on Friday and if I am continuing to progress I think I may take an early "maternity leave" from the little boy I watch. I was going to keep him until 39 weeks, but I really want to have some time to do a few things with just Noah before he loses his standings as an only child. I worry that this will be a very hard transition for him, and would like to spend some good one on one time with him while I can. I would feel a little guilty about taking off extra time from babysitting, but Noah comes first!
Secondly, I have to say congratulations to my cousin Alycia who is expecting again! She has a beautiful little girl (and has the personality to match) who is just a few months older than Noah. And I am so excited that our kids will again, be so close in age. I was so excited when I got the email announcing #2!
Third, I ordered a Baby K'tan baby wrap . It should be coming today and I am so excited to try it out. It holds kids up to age 3-4 (up to 42 lbs) So I am going to try it out on Noah and see how it makes my back feel. The carrier I had with Noah (bjorn) was not supportive enough and hurt to use. But I have heard great things about this one so I hope it works well for us!
Lastly some Noah updates (and brags)...
Noah is recovering from some tummy bug. He woke up with a fever, runny nose and cough on Sunday and by dinnertime was throwing up. Yuck! But he has been fever free since Tuesday and seems to be his normal self today.
He is getting 4 molars, so bedtime has been a little rough still, but once he is asleep has been sleeping all night (fingers crossed it stays that way!). Overall though, I am surprised to say that his molars have been the least troubling set of teeth he has gotten.
Noah is also building quite the vocabulary still. He is up to about 30 words and soaks up everything. We have definitely come to the point where we have to watch what we say and do. Last week Brandon took Noah's toy hammer and hit my knee with it, (like they will do at the doctor to check your reflex)and ever since Mr. Noah has been finding it and coming over to whack Mommy! Thanks Brandon! Brandon also taught Noah to "scare" mommy by jumping out and saying "BOO". Granted he isn't very sneaky about it, and its pretty obvious when he is going to do it, but it's still pretty darn cute (albeit slightly obnoxious).
His new favorite game is pat-a-cake. We have been playing for months and months but lately it has just been hysterical to him, and he has just recently been asking to play (rather than me just initiating the game). Other favorites are still books (he will sit and look at them for as long as an hour, and he loves to be read to). He has also figured out that he can procrastinate bedtime by asking Daddy to read to him. Mommy has it all figured out...but Daddy is still a sucker. He also still loves his puppy! Louie gets more hugs and kisses than we do. He has to give him hugs goodnight, and we have to find him every morning before breakfast for kisses.
Well...that's about all I have for now! Please keep us in your prayers for a smooth (and quick!) delivery and for a healthy baby. It's just a waiting game from here on.
And P.S. If you read this entire post mostly bragging about my child you deserve a cookie! :)

Baby wraps
While I have everything we NEED for this baby, there are a few things that I really wish I would have had with Noah, and want to get if we can before Eli comes. The big one is a baby wrap. Most of you know what I am referring to, but if you don't they are wraps that you tie to yourself and you carry baby in them...essentially you wear your baby. I had a carrier (bjorn) with Noah, and didn't get too much use out of it. It hurt my back and shoulders. I have been looking into different brands and have sort of narrowed down my options to the Sleepy Wrap, and Moby Wrap. Both run around $40, so price wise they are equal, so it just comes to which one seems like it will work best for us. I am thinking I would use it grocery shopping since I don't know how I would fit groceries into any cart with a carseat and Noah inside, and I want to be able to wear it around the house doing my regular housework...and I want one I can breastfeed with. I would love to hear opinions if anyone has one or the other.
