Another great update!

We had another ob appointment today.  Things were great.  The baby's heart rate was at 144 bpm and I was measuring fine.  Also, my blood pressure was normal, which is a relief since it was a bit high at my last appointment.  So we will go back in four weeks for another appointment, but in the meantime I still have my next ultrasound scheduled for June 14.  Hopefully baby will show the goods and we will be able to tell if it is a boy or girl!

Update on Baby Mize

We had our second ob appointment today.  Baby Mize is doing great, with a heart rate again of 156 bpm.  We will go in again in 2 more weeks, mostly just for peace of mind.  We have a great doctor who is so understanding of all my worries!  Thank you all for the continued prayers!  God is great!

3 Months

3 months and the belly has popped!  Seriously I just popped out over a couple of days.  So I though I would put up my first preggie pic!

DA Update

We had our prenatal appointment today!  Everything went great, and our little one had a strong heart rate of 156 bpm.  I will go back in so she can find the heartbeat again in 2 weeks, but things are looking great now.  Brandon had to work, so his mom Cindy went with me so she was also able to hear Baby Mize chugging away!  Thank you for your continued prayers.  This has been an exciting, but stressful couple of months.  

Update on Baby Mize

Well, because of our complications over the weekend we had another ultrasound done today.  Our baby looked great!  So it was a big sigh of relief!  It is measuring just where it should be, and had a strong heartbeat of 180!  We are so thankful for this good news.  I have been thinking it is a boy...but am starting to feel maybe we will be having a little girl.  I guess we will see!

My Scary Birthday!

Well, yesterday was my birthday.  Brandon threw me a big party, and we had about 30 of our family and friends over to celebrate.  Around 7:30 Brandon had to ask everyone to leave, and he drove me to the ER.  I was having some bleeding, so I was prepared for the worst.  Luckily the ob/gyn on call was able to find our baby's heartbeat really quickly.  She also did and exam and said that I probably over did it today and needed to rest, and take it easy the next week or two.  So I am home now, trying not to get up and clean the huge mess in my kitchen from the party!  I am having trouble resisting though!  Anyway, please keep us in your prayers.  We are just so thankful that God has given us this incredible miracle.

We had our first ultrasound today!  7weeks 4days!  Here it is!  The heart rate was 130!

Brandon's Birthday

Well Friday was Brandon's 24th birthday.  We went to Texas Roadhouse to celebrate, and got ice cream after!  Saturday we had his party at his parents house with the whole family plus our friends Nate and Britni.  (Brandon and Nate spent the afternoon crow hunting.  Why?  I have no idea!).  Anyway it was a good weekend besides my tiredness, and Britni's, we all had fun!

Were Pregnant!

Yep...  It's true!  We found out March 16 and Brandon just couldn't keep quiet so we decided to tell friends and family right away.  Today we are 5 weeks 4 days and are due November 22, so hopefully we will have our new arrival in time for Thanksgiving.  We decided to use the same names as we had for the last baby, so Grace Elizabeth for a little girl and Noah Thomas if it is a boy.  I have had several rounds of blood work done and everything is looking good and progressing like it should.  We are praying that this is the little Mize we will get to take home with us.  I am still working for the school district, so will be off all summer, and have decided just to sub a few days a week next year so I can stay home.  Anyway, our next appointment is April 28th and we should be able to hear its little heartbeat then.
