I know several of you guys reading this have kiddos, and I was wondering what kinds of things you did or do with them around Noah's age. Being a stay at home mom is great...but it can be hard staying cooped up in the house all week. I try to get out and do fun things but am running out of ideas. I have him signed up for baby music classes starting in June, and we like to visit the animals in the pet shop, and I take him for walks everyday. I wish it would warm up here, but it is still a little to chilly most days to stay outside for long periods of time. So any ideas?

The Zoo
Noah enjoyed the aquarium so much when we took him in NY that I decided to take him to the zoo today. It is a fairly small zoo, so it only took about 2 hours to do everything which is a perfect amount of time when you have an infant! Noah loved watching the animals, especially the giraffes who got quite a few laughs out of Noah. We were able to get about 5 feet away from them and they were huge! Noah also liked watching the ducks swimming and he got a great deal of amusement out of a ceiling fan in the bird sanctuary.

finger paining
We decided to try finger painting since several friends with kiddos suggested I try it with Noah. He had so much fun!

Bulldogs are funny looking!
Noah has started laughing every time he sees our dog. I got a quick video on our last walk.

Fingers crossed!
Noah has been sleeping better the last couple of nights. We still are not back to our 10-12 hour stretches, but we are doing 6-8 again. His appetite is also going back down to normal too...he is still eating more than usual, but a lot less than he has been eating!

We have "the curse"
So I had been hearing about this "curse"....AKA "the 5 month curse", when babies who have been sleeping through the night start to wake up all night. Well, Noah went from sleeping 10-12 hours to 4-5...if we are lucky! He was going to bed around 8, waking at 6-7, then going back to sleep until 8. Now, we go down 8-9, wake up to eat sometime between 10-12, then wake again to eat between 2-4 and are up again around 7:30.
