I had my 36 week appointment today. Pretty much a typical 5 minute appointment. They did my first internal and strep test last week, so this week I just had to have my tummy poked and she listened to his heartbeat. I lost a pound last week (I was sick all week), so my total gain is 17lbs, my blood pressure was surprisingly good, his heart rate was in the 130s and my belly was right on track measuring 35-36 weeks. And now that I have hit 36 weeks...he can pretty much come with no complications. So if I were to go into labor tonight they wouldn't try to stop him :) I'm super excited to meet him, and very very ready to be "normal" sized again!

Eli's costume!
Yesterday I posted some pictures of Noah's Batman Halloween costume. And I just finished sewing Eli's so it's almost done! I still need some leggings or tights or something to keep Eli's legs covered and warm, and I need to get Noah some boots for his, but other than that we are ready for trick or treating!
And the best part is...they both love wearing them, so I won't have to worry about either boy wanting to take his costume off (I was a little worried Eli would want nothing to do with it!)

Halloween!
I love Halloween! And I really love making cheesy costumes for the boys. Last year we were the cat and the hat, thing one and thing two, and this year I have a batman and robin! Noah's costume is done...I just finished up his cape and hat a few minutes ago. And Eli's will hopefully be done tomorrow (I finished his cape, just need to work on his shirt). So...here are a few pictures from last year, and Noah's costume this year!
This is our costumes from last year!
The cape...I just added a iron on batman logo
The front! The hat I just bought, and cut slits in and sewed in some ears with felt.

Birth Photography
In my last post, I mentioned that I won a package for a birth photographer, and Im really excited about it, so I thought I'd share a little more about what it is. Basically, we will have a photographer in with us during the labor and delivery photographing the whole process. While I realize it might sound strange to a lot of people (Brandon included) I am really excited about it. She (the photographer) will pretty much just stand at my head during the delivery and then move with baby during his first moments while the nurses do the apgar tests, measurements, and foot prints. She will capture his first cry, our first time holding him, and then she will hang around for a few hours and get pictures of Noah and Eli meeting their new brother, and our first visitors meeting him. She said she will do as much or as little as we are comfortable with, so we asked that she not photograph anything I wouldn't want to share with our family and friends (so we are keeping this G rated). When I first won, I was worried I would chicken out, but the closer we get the more excited I am! The best part is that Brandon will actually get to focus all of his attention on Isaiah instead of listening to me yell at him to keep taking pictures :)

Family/Maternity pictures
I recently won a package for a birth photographer, and part of the package included us doing some maternity pictures. Here are just the "sneak peeks" she posted today for us.

Take a Guess!
Over on the right side of the page...over there ------------> There is a little box that says Take A Guess, with the game name IsaiahMize. If you go to that site you can enter a guess on his birthday and weight.

33 week appointment update
I had another appointment today. Nothing too exciting to report, but I did get my results from the last ultrasound and everything looked fine. I'm up 15 lbs total and Isaiah's heart rate was 130 beats per minute! I go back in 2 more weeks, then we will be there every week until he's here!
I'm thinking he will be my smallest baby. Noah was 7lbs 7oz, and Eli was 8lbs 8oz, but based on my weight gain I'm think this guy will be smaller. But who knows...they guessed Eli to be about 6 lbs the week he was born, and they were way off with that guess!

Things we could use
Since I have had several family members ask what we still needed for Isaiah I thought I would just post a few things, after thinking about it.
We really don't "need" much of anything since we've been there, done that with a new baby boy before :) But things that would be handy to have would be more fitted crib sheets which we do actually "need" since a few of ours are pretty torn and need to be tossed now, newborn and size one disposable diapers for laundry day (or days I just don't feel like messing with the cloth diapers), size 4 disposable diapers (Eli uses them overnight) and sleepers of just about every size from newborn through 12 months...since we seem to have worn through some already, and you can't have too many anyway!

Last (fingers crossed anyway) ultrasound!
Ok...really I wouldn't mind getting to see him again, but that would mean there were more issues so hopefully the next time I get to see Isaiah's little face, he will be here safe and sound!
I just had my ultrasound this morning, to look at the placenta and diaphragm. I really don't know anything yet since the technician can't tell me much (they are supposed to wait for the radiologist to review it all). But I will know more at my next appointment in a week.
At our last ultrasound a few weeks ago, we thought he looked just like Eli, but today we saw more Noah in him. I'm excited to see him in person and see just who he looks more like...or if he looks totally different :)
