Working on the boys room/bathroom

This week I really wanted to get Noah's room put together. He has been having trouble sleeping and adjusting to his new room, so I thought getting all his "stuff" back in there would help him settle in a bit easier. In order to do that, I needed to get it painted first! So, Tuesday evening I got the boys interested in toys in my bedroom and went to work. Today I finished putting his toys and things in there. There are a few more things I have not yet found...but enough to make it look like his room again.

Today I decided to paint their bathroom, for no reason other than I got a bunch of cute stuff for it and really wanted to get it put together. I love doing this sort of decorating, and kids stuff is always so much fun to put together. It was a nice break from unpacking, and it was still productive!

We are moved!

We closed on our house a week early, and have been getting settled. I still need to do a lot of work on the new place as well as get our condo cleaned out and ready to go, and Brandon got sent out of town to work for a few months, and I'm getting everything ready for my sister's shower this weekend...so we are in chaos mode at the moment :)

We just got the internet back today, and got the new phone number as well. Anyway...that's all I had to say.

4 years down and many more to come...whether he likes it or not!

The Forth

We had a great forth of July with the boys. Friday we drove down to my grandparents house and spent a long weekend with them. They have a neighborhood parade every year and all the neighborhood kids (and doggies) decorate bikes/wagons and parade through the neighborhood. So this year Noah was able to participate. We had so much fun watching him try and keep up with the big kids. Later in the evening we all went to the fireworks. I was surprised to see how much both of the little boys loved watching the fireworks. They were mesmerized!

Crusty is sick!

Noah had a fever early this week, and ever since he has been pretending that Crusty is sick. He takes his temperature, and gives him sips of water and lots of kisses. It's the cutest thing to watch.

moving right along

We have a renter for our condo! She came Tuesday to look at it, and she called us shortly after she left to say she wanted to rent. Her background check and credit check looked good so she is signing a lease this afternoon!

Our realtor set up the home inspection for Monday and after that we just wait for the bank appraisal. So far things are coming together very smoothly.
