More Buddies

As many of you know, most of our friends had babies within a few months of us.  This is Levi, Noah's friend who is just 12 days older.  

It's love!

I have the joy of getting to watch a few kids during the day now.  I have one that I have full time, and another who comes for short periods every once and awhile.  I just love it!  I do all my housework at night after Noah is in bed, so I pretty much just get to play all day!  And best of all, I can stay home with my Noah.  

Anyway, the little girl that comes part time is 8 days younger than Noah.  We have known the parents for awhile, in fact they were both in our wedding!  Noah is just in love with her.  He stares and grabs at her when she comes over, and tries to slobber all over her cheeks.  So today I decided I just had to get pictures of it to show them when they are older.  

Crawling

Noah is getting better at crawling, but still has not perfected it.  He cannot figure out how to make turns, so he has to get back on his belly to turn.  Also, he still can't go very far without tripping up.  He still needs to perfect his coordination, but it is just the cutest thing to watch!  

I am so excited right now!

Noah started crawling today!  I am such a proud momma right now.  Granted he still isn't very good at it, and can only go a few "steps" without laying back down, and then it takes him a few moments to figure out how to get back up on his knees, but crawling is crawling!

6 months old!

Noah is 6 months today!  I took him in for his checkup on Friday and he was 16 lbs (he lost a quarter pound while he was sick) and 26.25 inches long.  The doctor again commented on just how strong he is for his age.  She thinks that he will be pulling up and walking early, so it is time to do some major childproofing!

Noah is getting into such a fun age.  He is sitting better and for longer periods each day, and is trying to crawl, but he usually just ends up falling on his face and deciding it would just be easier to roll where he wants to go.  I think he will be successfully crawling in another month.  

Bad to worse

Now Brandon is sick (who is a much bigger baby about it).  I just hope I manage not to get it.  

Noah...

Has the stomach flu.  We just got home from the doctor.  He has been throwing up all day, and has been pretty fussy the last few days.  Please keep him in your prayers for a quick recovery!  Thanks!

Bottoms up!

Noah likes to sleep on his tummy with his fanny in the air.  I usually turn him on his back before I go to bed, but he just rolls right back over.  

I hope all you fellow mommies had a great Mother's day.  Brandon got up with Noah and let me sleep in until 9:30, then he made me breakfast.  It felt great to get all that sleep!  

Getting stronger!

Noah can now sit up without the support of his hands!  I can't believe how quickly he is growing and changing.
