Noah's 2 month checkup

Noah had his 2 month check today.  He was 11 lbs 6 oz (45th percentile) and 24 inches long (90th percentile)...so he has gained about 4 lbs and a whopping 4 inches these past 2 months!  He had a hard time with the shots.  I had to leave the room (and cried a little) but I could hear him screaming down the hall when I went to make his next appointment.  It was very hard for us both.  Overall he is doing great though.

The end of a great 2 weeks

Brandon was home for almost two weeks and we had a great time.  We mostly just sat at home (which was still really nice), but we also visited family and friends.  Brandon left this morning for New York again, but he will be home the 26th, so Noah and I are already counting down the days.  These are just a few pictures of Noah this past week.  The first one is Noah with Levi, some friends of ours baby, who is just a week older than Noah, but as you can see much larger!  The second is Noah watching the computer screen while Brandon is on it and the third is Noah being freaking adorable!  

6 weeks

Well Noah is 6 weeks this week and doing awesome!  He is 10 lbs and 22 inches long so he is growing like a weed.  He has been a great sleeper from the start, but this past week he has been sleeping through the night (7.5 to 8.5 hours!).  I am loving that of course!  We have started working a little on a schedule but I think he is ready for me to push it a little more so we will be starting to work on that after Brandon heads back to NY.  Noah has been smiling for a few weeks but is starting to "talk" a lot more and even trying to laugh which is of course adorable.  

Last night Noah got to meet Eden, some friends of ours little girl who is a week younger than Noah.  They were both a little sleepy but Noah seemed to enjoy watching another baby.  

Noah's first Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas with Noah!  Brandon surprised me by coming home a day early with my Christmas present...a new car!  Mine was having some problems and was really not safe to drive with our little guy anymore.  

Christmas morning we went to my parents, then we spent the afternoon with Brandon's family.  It was so much more fun to celebrate with a baby!

One month!

I cannot believe that Noah is already a month old!  He is getting bigger...his newborn outfits are getting tight and he is starting to fit into the 0-3 month size.  He has also been testing out his voice a little, and he has started smiling, but they are not often yet, and I work hard to entertain him enough to get one out of him!  I have yet to catch one on camera...but will post a picture of one as soon as I get one.  For now here are a few pictures at one month!

3 weeks old already!

Noah was 3 weeks old as of yesterday!  He is about 8 and a half lbs now.  I can hardly believe just how quickly he is growing and changing.  We are pretty set in our schedule now, which I have been told I am very lucky for!  He usually goes to bed around 8pm and gets up twice during the night and then is up between 8-9am, and naps for a few hours around 1 or 2 in the afternoon.  So I have started getting more sleep (finally!), although I get a lot less done around the house with him being awake much more.  Last night he has his longest stretch of sleep at 5 hours and 40 minutes, he got up to eat then slept for another 4 and a half!  And I am sure all moms say this about their kids but he is such a sweet baby.  Sorry I don't have any new pictures but I am having troubles with my camera's USB cord.  

2.5 weeks

Noah is growing fast!  He is such a wonderful baby and has a very sweet disposition.  Louie is still very curious about Noah.  Wherever Noah is, you can bet Louie is right there staring at him.  He knows he is not allowed to touch Noah, but will rest his face on the couch as close to Noah as he can get and just watch him.  It is very cute!  

Noah had his 2 week check up this week and was weighing in at 8lbs 1.5oz and (still) 20 inches long.  They said he is averaging a little over an ounce a day, so He should be over 9 lbs by the time Brandon gets home from New York!  Maybe he will finally fit into some of his clothes here soon!
